If our aim is to liberate the world by making people realize that you can choose the reality you'd prefer, we need to know which are the most efficient ways to achieve that insight. In order to get information about that we want to collect your personal stories. How did you reach this level of enlightenment?
Estimating that most of the forums' readers and writers subscribe to the idea that reality is, in Robert A. Wilson's famous words, "what you can get away with" – how did you arrive to that point of view? What factors in your culture, upbringing and education (forced and self-chosen) did lead you to the conclusion that reality is a lot more malleable than conventional wisdom claims?
So, please answer these questions:
- What is your current view on reality, what do you think it _is_?
- Can you remember a time when your thinking was still "ordinary", when you thought reality was just everything you see and you believed that everybody else did see the same things as you?
- When did that change, and how? Was it a gradual process or a sudden flash of insight? What triggered the change? This is the central question.
- Then what? Did anything change in your behaviour, lifestyle or relationships? Did anybody around you notice? Was there any reaction from them?
- Do you think your experiences in this case are possible to generalize for other people? If so, how?
Thanks in advance from IA's Research Department. |
